My Two Year Old is Covered in Flour cont.

Ahh, two plates of shortbread emerged from the oven. We’ve only iced one – who knew icing cookie’s could be such a tiring task ;p

Here is batch number one:     (no prizes for guessing which ones were iced by littler hands than mine)

My Two Year Old is Covered in Flour.

Every family develops their own Christmas traditions. Sometimes we don’t realise we have them until we spend Christmas with someone else and find they do things differently!

Our family is so young that we’re still working on our Christmas rituals and habits. We’re still trying things out to see if they fit, and deciding what to borrow from the families that my husband and I grew up in.

This morning dear 2yr old and I baked shortbread. It was a lovely way to keep him occupied and be together. Of course, being a photog, I was really hanging out to photograph the results.
